Waklee gave a talk in primary a few weeks ago and I overheard her on the potty tonight reciting: President Gordon B. Hinckley said, "Never forget my dear young friends that you really are a Child of God, He loves you, He desires to help and bless. May life be kind to you for indeed you are a Child of God." This sweet little quote is extra special to us this week as our dear Prophet has passed away. What a wonderful and encouraging man who we will always remember.
What a great time we had. We loved seeing all the family, well atleast most of you. And everyone, but me, loved playing in the snow. Actually it wasn't too bad this year. Waklee rode the kitty-kat until 11 pm on New Years Eve, let's just say she loves Idaho. Santa 
spoiled us. Wakes had a lot of fun playing with all the cousins. She started crying on the way home and I had to explain to her that the family doesn't all hang out at Grandma's house everyday. We got to go to the Rexburg temple open-house which was a nice way to spend the day and this trip we didn't have any rocks bowling out of the Gorge trashing our car. Although Reese did start throwing up 1/4 of the way into our trip and is still under the weather.
We took a day and snowmachined to Mesa Falls. It is a lot more worrisome when one decides to take the kiddies out into the cold. Suprisingly the girls did great! Reese even fell asleep. Waklee cried because she thought I was driving too fast. What a breathtaking view. It was absolutely beautiful up there.
My friend Marykaye got me into this fun digital scrap-booking. I am so excited because it is right up my alley, there is no mess. This is my first page and I am still trying to figure it out but YEAH! Thanks Marykaye.
What good friends they are becoming. They sleep together, they wake-up together, they bathe together, wrestle together. Reminds me of that sign: Sister will you..........
hare a twin bed and we wouldn't want it any other way. So cute to peek in on them and see them snuggling up to each other or to hear them in there giggling as they are trying to fall asleep. I always want my kiddo's to share beds, maybe just a bigger one. I wondered if they would play well together with a 4 1/2 year gap and surprisingly they do. Waklee is so good to her. 
Oh and we had a few fun flakes that fell on Saturday. Getting us geared up for Idaho. Can't Wait!

What a fun day we had. This morning I asked Waklee to turn the t.v. down and she responded with a "Mom it is my birthday I don't have to do that." I figured okay once a year I'll let her get away with that. We had a little party tonight and got a lot of really fun pictures. Thanks for all the birthday calls. I have to admit Waklee is all ME because tonight G&G Kunz called to wish her a happy birthday and she told them, "You sang to me yesterday" and promptly ended the call and whenever anyone called she acted so not overly excited and well that is ME (we just don't know how to show it). She really was excited and had a blast and I know felt very special on her birthday! We played "Do you love your neighbor" and you knew that adults could have so much fun playing such a 
silly game. And of course we couldn't have a birthday without Bronson and as usual he had us all cracked up. Eric beat me out this year with the "best" gift which was .................pink golf clubs, but the Hannah Montana wig came in with a very close second. Enjoy!
