Precious

I came across this picture today. Reese took her newborn sister in to snuggle and they fell
asleep together. If you look closely you can see that Reese has snuggle bunny and is
sucking on her thumb with sweet little Scout asleep on her.
Too Precious.

Labor Day- I love it!

I love Labor Day.
It seems like it is the last days of Summer and were trying to
soak every last bit of it up!
For our second year in a row we went to the beautiful
String and Leigh Lakes in the shadows of the Tetons.
So beautiful and so so fun.

Can it get any cuter than this?

Cute Canon.
Canon and his Boys.
It was a treat to spend the day with our Kunz Family.
Eric's parents, Ty Ty, Neville Family and Aunt Sally and Uncle Kelley.

First Day of School 2011-2012

Big year at the Kunz home with the 2011-2012 school year.

Waklee moved to a school in Driggs which is only fourth and fifth graders.
She rides the bus to school and has a locker. She loves school!

My Sweet Reese is a big Kindergartener. So sad.
Reese doesn't have a first day of school picture because we don't like to take pictures of people and their ugly cry faces. Many tears were shed by Reese and by her Mom. And it wasn't just the first day of school either. Happy to report that Mom and cute Reese are now doing fine.

Whoa Summer 2011 is over.....so sad.
This is the Summer that our Bedtimes Went on Vacation.

Top Highlights of Summer 2011:

For Mothers Day Eric and the kids

Next they hauled "dirt" from Uncle Ryan's (he has the best kind of "dirt").

Our first garden was actually quite successful and if anything I could walk out and see all the lush green and it made me Happy!

Fourth Of July in the Valley -------Williams Reunion Island Park
--------Twenty Fourth of July Kunz Family------

The best part of Summer
- Just Chillin'-

I wouldn't do my Summer justice if I didn't mention the opportunity of
attending the sealing of these special people.
This day falls into top 5 life experiences. Love You Lasson Family

Oh sweet Scout girl, I have neglected taking pictures of you. Please forgive me.

You are adored by your little family. Reese loves you most and Canon can't wait to play with you.
You have such a sweet little spirit. Just starting to show a little bit of an aggressive side, your Mama loves aggressive!

"The Screw" a "2nd Story Window" & "Two Fat Feet".

Our last few weeks have been quite eventful and I am ready for a life of dullness!

Canon is all boy............And so last week he was working on his motorbike aka "crash". I noticed that he was playing with a screw which is not uncommon for my all boy. He can frequently be found working on the tires of "crash" and oiling "crash" with lotion. A bit later Canon comes vrooming in on "crash" and then all of a sudden he is choking. I am on the phone with the school secretary and as she is talking to me I am performing the Heimlich. Once I can tell that he is no longer choking I instantly new that he had choked on "the screw". I ask Canon where is "the screw"? He in his little two year old boy talk tells me "the screw" is in his mouth. Now I am really calm in an emergency, if you are ever going to have an emergency I am the one you want around. So at first I think dang Canon just swallowed "the screw". I continue to make my bed thinking about "the screw" and then I put on my make-up and starting thinking man this might not be so good that Canon swallowed "the screw". I then decide I should really look around to make sure "the screw" isn't in the couches, in a pocket, or on the floor. I can' find "the screw". I repeatedly ask Canon where "the screw" is and each time he tells me it is in his mouth. I also thought "the screw" had a blunt end but the more I thought about that I wasn't positive about this either. I try calling Daddy at work and he isn't able to answer. I call our Doctor and he is out of the office and they recommend we go to the E.R. We ask Grandpa Neil and he also suggests we get an x-ray to make sure "the screw" made it to Canon's stomach. To the E.R. we go and there is "the screw" safely in his stomach.

At first the E.R. Doc said that we will let the "the screw" come out on it's own but then after seeing that "the screw" wasn't blunt ended but pointed that he wanted to get a 2nd opinion. 2nd opinion said lets retrieve "the screw" and 3rd opinion also thought we should go in after "the screw". Off to Idaho Falls we go to an O.R. to find that "the screw" is UN-RETRIEVABLE! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! So now we had to go back to the original plan and let "the screw" pass on its own. The next day this proud Mama found "the screw"!

Now for the "2nd Story Window".......The weather has not been that warm up until well just now really. But the day after finding "the screw" I was in my bedroom folding laundry and I had the window open enjoying the fresh air. In walks Reese and she sits in the window sill. I had for the past few weeks been telling the kids to stay out of the window sills! Reese sits down and my back is to her and I hear a small scream as she falls out the "2nd story window". I rush to the window. This all happens in about 3 seconds. As I am rushing over to the window I am thinking she is either going to be on the roof pitch or out on the ground and there she was hanging on out on the roof. Oh my lands! I grab her and she is screaming for her dang bunny; the bunny that I now know she was sitting in that window sill with sucking her thumb and lost her balance, fell into the screen and onto the roof. I was so shocked that all I could do was sit and laugh and hug my girl as tight as I could.

We made it about ten days without incident when Waklee informs me her feet hurt. I shrug her off because I think she is trying to get out of helping do chores. The next evening she complains again that her feet hurt. She comes over and says Mom look. Oh my lands this kid has a toe that is grossly infected and her foot is starting to swell. Long, very long story short. We got her on an antibiotic and then next two days she spent with both feet swelling, "two fat feet" and bruising unknown to the Doctor as to why? She is still on the mend.

Sweet Scout is doing great! But Reese just got strep. Stay tuned.

Scout's Sunday

Scout Lana Kunz blessed February 6th, 2011.
Tetonia II Ward; Tetonia, Idaho

What a special and fun day.
Little did we know it was Scouting Sunday and so a number of boys and their leaders were dressed in their Boy Scouting uniforms. When our older kids asked why the boys had on their uniforms we told them they had worn them for Scout's blessing. They thought that was pretty cool. It did catch me off guard when a woman in our ward stood to bear her testimony and said that Scout....ing was really special to her ( I had to process that one for a second.) Scout's blessing day was also fun because once again unknown to us it was also Super Bowl Sunday. At the store when purchasing hot pink tables cloths we were asked about having a hot pink Super Bowl party.

We felt so proud to be able to bless our baby
with so many of our loved ones present,
our families filled a third of the chapel.

Wonderful living near our families.

Birthday Boy!

Cute Little Canon turned two!

This boy has me wrapped around his finger. He is such a sweet little guy. He looks at me with that little sparkle in those big brown eyes and I give him whatever he wants.
A little worried about how much he loves his jammies though. After he takes a bath and is getting dressed for the day he begs to have jammie pants on. Today he woke up from his nap and I told him we had to get ready to go and he sobbed when I took the jammie pants off. I am just imagining him as a thirty year old man still living at home wearing his jammies.

Canon, along with loving all things with an engine and animals loves books. For his birthday he got a little motorbike that we named, "crash", wish you could hear how Canon says, "crash". A few weeks ago I let him sit on the four-wheeler in the garage and was in the kitchen cleaning and I hear him start it up???? Definitely seeing a little "crash" in the future.
Happy Birthday My Boy!

Our View

Grandma Lana said it best,
" Looks like he is in front of a large screen television watching a National Geographic movie of the most beautiful sights and sounds of nature...actually, he one of the most beautiful sights of nature."

This is our view from the bonus room. I love looking at the Tetons throughout the day because they are a never ending changing canvas. My favorite is at early sunrise when the Tetons are on fire and they are bright pink, actually about an hour before this photo was taken they were on fire. Waklee always says, "not literally, right." We often see deer and occasionally moose in the field in front of the house too. Such a beautiful place to live.
A few weeks ago collectively as a family in one day we saw: moose, elk, deer, bald eagle, porcupine, coyote.
